Interactions Expands Leadership Team with Appointment of Deepak Batheja as Executive Vice President of Technology and CIO


Interactions, LLC, a leader in speech and natural language technology and developer of Intelligent Virtual Assistant solutions for enterprise customer care, today appointed Deepak Batheja as Executive Vice President of Technology and CIO, further expanding its roster of experienced leadership personnel. Batheja will primarily focus on expanding Interactions' (News - Alert) rich portfolio of customer care offerings, powered by artificial and human intelligence.

As Interactions' Executive Vice President of Technology and CIO, Batheja will be responsible for the strategic leadership and management of product and platform development, all technical operations, as well as oversight of the Curo(™) Speech and Language platform, which Interactions recently acquired as Watson from AT&T (News - Alert) and rebranded as Curo.

For four consecutive years, Batheja was recognized by InformationWeek as a Top-250 executive for establishing a world-class business-enabling technology function. Most recently, he was ecognized by ComputerWorld as a 2016 Top 100 Premier Leader.

Prior to joining Interactions, Batheja spent nearly three decades in global information technology operations. Most recently, Batheja served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Sutherland Global Services, where he enhanced the company's valuation by managing numerous innovative products and transformed the business through automation. He also led the Business Process Outsourcing provider through three global merger and acquisition integrations, introduced new geographies, while digitizing the business through next-generation technology platforms.


Prior to his time at Sutherland Global Services (News - Alert), Batheja was Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Sungard Data Systems Inc. and Vice President of Worldwide Real Time Infrastructure Business at Unisys (News - Alert) Corporation.
