Gartner Partnership Strengthens Fastbase, Inc.'s Position as a Global Player in Web Analytics and Lead Generation

NEW YORK, Feb. 23, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Gartner, Inc. and Fastbase, Inc. have entered into an agreement where Gartner, Inc. will support Fastbase, Inc.'s mission to become a global player in the field of web analytics, lead generation, and lead management. Within only 18 months, Fastbase, Inc. has attracted more than 780,000 companies with its web analytics tools that convey essential insights about website visitors and depict new business leads. The analytics software helps businesses to stay ahead in any competitive environment, providing a significant indication of the sales force and marketing efficiency.

Gartner believes Fastbase, Inc.'s success reflects the trend that data and analytics are becoming mainstream. Philip Grip Blomberg, Senior Account Executive at Gartner, Inc. emphasizes "We are pleased to be a part of this success and to assist Fastbase, Inc. to become a leading player in the big data industry, and to help build new analytics products for the next generation."

According to the latest forecast from Gartner, Inc. the analytic application market is aggregated. Analytic applications from all segments have simlar architectures and purposes, but the dynamics of each segment are different in terms of market growth, current and future penetration, price per user, and important features and functions. The segments are also varied in size and growth. The smallest in 2016 was sales analytics at $540 million, while the largest was supply chain analytics at $2.8 billion. CAGRs range from 8.4% (CRM analytics for marketing) to 15% (workforce analytics). The markets will expand due mainly to more companies adopting analytic applications, as well as organizations acquiring additional types of analytic applications. Typically, analytic applications are adopted tactically to meet specific business needs — unlike analytics and business intelligence (BI) platforms, which are intended to meet wide ranges of needs. Data gravity (the tendency for data to naturally gravitate to a given environment, either on-premises or in the cloud) from software as a service (SaaS) CRM data is bringing sales analytic applications to the cloud. This segment is the most strongly affected by SaaS purchasing styles.

"Fastbase, Inc. is preparing its IPO on the London Stock Exchange by June this year and Gartner is certainly the right advisory partner in this process," says Rasmus Refer, CEO of Fastbase, Inc.
