The latest Centricity Perinatal equipped hospitals and health systems include many healthcare systems and medical centers.
Supported by efficient documentation of mothers and infants throughout the perinatal continuum of care, the Centricity Perinatal clinical Information System is in for a promising year. The latest upgrade, version 6.9.0 indicates the strong sense of commitment and dedication that GE Healthcare has in building upon the product's existing capabilities.
“We believe our maternal-child care solution is fast becoming the solution of choice in a highly competitive industry, ” said Laurent Rotival, vice president and general manager, GE Healthcare IT.
Rotival added that customers appreciated that they were buying more than a solution, for they each got the solution wrapped up in GE's commitment to partnership. This helped customers grow into the solution and its capabilities.
By participating in the HMSS interoperability Showcase consecutively for five years, Centricity Perinatal has demonstrated its desire to grow and enable its customers to grow along with the enhancement of its solutions.
Centricity solutions build comprehensive connections across patients and healthcare providers and enable patients to be better connected and linked more closely to caregivers, improving the overall healthcare experience.
It has demonstrated successful access to and viewing of the mock personal health record created for the event and, of the near 100 eligible unique systems, was the only clinical labor and delivery system to participate in the 2010 event.
In addition, Centricity Perinatal's active participation within the Integrating the Healthcare enterprise emphasized its desire to be in the forefront of Healthcare at all times, leveraging the global policy change necessary to implement sustainable healthcare solutions.
