Nokia (News - Alert) announced it partnered with Zscaler to strengthen its security framework and accelerate its digital transformation.

Using the Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange, Nokia hopes to enhance its cybersecurity, streamline operations, and optimize cloud capabilities to support its global workforce.

The Zscaler platform offers a cloud-native solution that directly connects users to applications without exposing the corporate network. This minimizes the attack surface and aligns with zero-trust principles, delivering fast, secure access from any device, anywhere.

Prior to this, Nokia relied on traditional hardware and virtual firewalls which presented challenges in maintaining consistent security across its distributed offices and hybrid cloud environments. Legacy systems lacked the agility to meet the demands of modern zero-trust security, creating inefficiencies in Nokia’s cloud transformation efforts.

With its implementation of Zscaler’s Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solution it now has access to:

• Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA): Enabling zero-trust access to the internet and SaaS (News - Alert) applications via an AI-driven secure web gateway.
• Zscaler Private Access (ZPA): Eliminating the need for VPNs by offering secure, direct access to private apps.
• Zscaler Digital Experience (ZDX): Enhancing IT teams’ ability to quickly resolve connectivity issues and improve user experiences.
• Zscaler Data Protection: Providing advanced tools to safeguard sensitive data and thwart cyber threats.
