Wedge Networks (News - Alert)' Wedge Cloud Network Defense, or WedgeCND, is a cloud-managed security service designed to provide comprehensive security protection and is available as an add-on for Edgecore's WiFi (News - Alert) 6 series access points through its ecCLOUD cloud controller.

For those unfamiliar with it, ecCLOUD simplifies the task of device deployment, management and monitoring of hosting a network at a single site or multiple sites across different geographical locations.

By activating the WedgeCND security add-on on ecCLOUD, all internet-connected hosts and endpoints utilizing Edgecore WiFi 6 access points registered to ecCLOUD receive automatic protection against various threats such as malware, ransomware, phishing and malicious websites.
