The convergence of remote work, software-defined networking and widespread adoption of cloud connectivity is revolutionizing the way global enterprises operate, leading to enhanced productivity and efficiency. As companies redesign their network infrastructure to cater to the needs of hybrid workers and embrace cloud computing, they are reaping the benefits of these technological advancements.

However, this transformation also brings forth new challenges with an expanded attack surface and growing vulnerability to cyber threats. To mitigate these risks, organizations need to prioritize cybersecurity and implement a comprehensive strategy that includes network segmentation, encryption, access controls, multifactor authentication, security monitoring and employee education.

Orange (News - Alert) Group and Palo Alto have a solution for that.

Orange Business, in collaboration with Orange Cyberdefense and Palo Alto (News - Alert), formed a strategic alliance to offer a managed SASE solution. This joint venture aims to cater to the networking and security needs of enterprise customers, providing high performance, simplicity and the innovative Zero Trust Network Access 2.0.

The comprehensive SASE solution combines Palo Alto Networks Prisma SASE, which includes Prisma Access and Prisma SD-WAN, with Orange Business' connectivity and digital integration capabilities.

Palo Alto Networks Prisma SASE is a cloud-delivered security platform that combines network security and secure access capabilities. It offers a comprehensive set of features including secure web gateway, cloud access security broker, firewall-as-a-service, zero trust network access, data loss prevention, and network analytics.

Prisma SASE enables organizations to secure their networks, protect against web-based threats, gain visibility and control over cloud applications, implement zero trust security, prevent data loss and analyze network traffic. It provides a unified and simplified security solution for distributed workforces and cloud-based applications.

Orange Business, on the other hand, orchestrates networks, cloud services and cybersecurity components to align customers' business strategies with their infrastructure strategies. The Evolution Platform serves as the cornerstone of a secure, flexible and virtualized ecosystem.

Converging networks and security in an agile, simple and cost-effective way is what our customers demand,” said Aliette Mousnier-Lompre, CEO, Orange Business. “Together with Palo Alto Networks and Orange Cyberdefense, we are delivering a fully converged and managed SASE offering that delivers a positive impact for our global customers.”

This collaboration also incorporates Orange Cyberdefense's Managed Secure Access service, enabling customers to effectively address their networking and security challenges through a fully managed SASE solution.

Orange Cyberdefense's Managed Secure Access service offers organizations a comprehensive solution for secure and controlled access to networks, systems, and applications. It includes features such as remote access, secure connectivity, MFA (News - Alert), access controls, threat detection, monitoring, and 24/7 SOC support. The service helps protect digital assets and data while enabling authorized users to connect securely from anywhere. It offers customizable and scalable solutions to meet the unique security needs of organizations across different industries.

“Improving cyber resilience has never been more challenging, so by combining our SASE solution with the services and management capabilities of Orange into a single platform, we are empowering our customers with industry-leading networking and security that is simple to deploy, easy to scale and manage and delivers the best performance in the industry,” said Helmut Reisinger, CEO EMEA and LATAM, Palo Alto.

The integrated approach of the alliance establishes a secure foundation for agile, cloud-enabled organizations.
