HPE Aruba Networking's EdgeConnect Selected to Drive Apcela Arcus

Traditionally, enterprises have relied on costly dedicated network connections like MPLS to ensure reliability. However, these services come with a hefty price tag (News - Alert). Enhanced internet services, on the other hand, offer a more cost-effective solution. When combined with SD-WAN technology, they provide an efficient means to improve network performance. SD-WAN dynamically selects the optimal route for data traffic, adapting in real-time to network conditions.

This agility results in heightened application performance and responsiveness. Enhanced internet services also often boast extensive global reach. This makes it easier for organizations to establish a comprehensive global network without the burdensome infrastructure expenses of traditional dedicated lines.

HPE Aruba Networking's EdgeConnect portfolio, for example, provides SD-WAN, routing interoperability, and a stateful zone-based firewall. The platform consolidates the WAN edge (retiring traditional routers and firewalls), improves business agility while reducing overall WAN cost, increases security and seamlessly transitions to a SASE architecture, enables a cloud architecture, simplifies WAN infrastructure, and centrally manages network operations and gets visibility.

That sure sounds like a hefty portfolio that service providers could utilize. That is why Apcela selected HPE Aruba Networking to power its Arcus Multicloud Transit Hubs and Open Access Network Edge.

Apcela provides software-defined, cloud optimized networks for the digitally transforming enterprise. The Arcus Platform simplifies multicloud networking for enterprises, providing a software-defined WAN connection delivered as a service. This cloud-native application streamlines network processes, lowers connectivity costs and ensures optimal performance across various cloud services. It offers an application-centric network infrastructure that works with multiple cloud platforms, which allows enterprises to enforce policies and gain greater control over their infrastructure.

The integration of Apcela's Arcus Platform offers a low-latency global backbone with HPE Aruba Networking's EdgeConnect portfolio. This makes it easier for existing and new customers to improve global WAN performance while reducing networking costs.

"Our customers will leverage the agility of the EdgeConnect SD-WAN platform to simplify and orchestrate high-performance, cloud-centric global networks and multicloud connectivity, within existing or new HPE Aruba Networking environments," said Todd While, Vice President of Partnerships and Alliances at Apcela.

Apcela also earned Gold partner status within the Partner Ready for HPE Aruba Networking channel program. The Partner Ready for HPE Aruba Networking channel program is a global community of qualified solution providers that design, integrate and deliver Aruba's secure, intelligent edge-to-cloud networking solutions and services.

"We look forward to working with the Apcela team to bring our combined benefits to a growing base of global enterprises leveraging SD-WAN and SSE to support their digital and cloud transformation journeys," said Patrick Gilbreath, Worldwide Vice President and GM for HPE Aruba Networking's SASE business.
