To create a team with a strong, singular focus on simplifying hosting that fosters real customer growth. “Our deliberate efforts today to focus only on the customer’s needs and successes,” a Hivelocity representative added, “have led us from a single rack of servers in a dingy basement to operating more than 40 world-class data centers on six continents.” Hivelocity maintains and manages tens of thousands of dedicated servers, virtualized servers and an assortment of private cloud solutions, and each aforementioned data center is SSAE-18 SOC1- and SOC2-certified (with HIPAA and PCI (News - Alert)-compliant services also available).

Colohouse officially announced the successful acquisition of Hivelocity. Combined, the plan is to launch a new private cloud offering in early Q3 this year, one specifically designed for enterprise virtualization environments to optimize complex workloads with scalable applications, architectures, and the necessary security requirements.
