Riverbed, a provider of AI Observability solutions, introduced its most advanced AI-powered observability platform aimed at optimizing digital experiences. The release includes several new solutions and a unified agent built on an open architecture, expanding Riverbed (News - Alert)'s capabilities to address visibility challenges across public cloud, Zero Trust, SD-WAN architectures, and remote work environments.

Riverbed's Managed Attack Surface Solution for SMBs, mid-market, and enterprise clients is focused on equipping organizations with the tools needed to navigate complex IT landscapes and evolving cyber threats effectively.

“Customers are challenged with improving the digital experience, simplifying their management environment and implementing AI that works and scales,” said Dave Donatelli, CEO at Riverbed. “To address this, Riverbed has invested in our core competencies of data collection and AI, and today we’re launching the most advanced AI-powered observability platform to optimize digital experiences, along with solutions that provide new levels of visibility into network blind spots and enterprise-owned mobile devices.”

The new observability platform leverages AI-driven capabilities to collect and analyze full-fidelity data across networks, IT infrastructure, applications, user experience, endpoints, and cloud environments.

“This is Riverbed’s largest product launch in years, and all of these solutions are available now,” said Donatelli. “Great AI starts with great data, and our platform and visibility solutions provide IT with full-fidelity and real data that is the most comprehensive in the industry, along with an AIOps engine that uses AI automation to remediate issues faster, often without human intervention. At our core, Riverbed is focused on helping organizations improve their user’s digital experiences by using AI automation for the prevention, identification, and resolution of IT issues.”

Unified Agent streamlines visibility solutions by deploying a single agent for multiple visibility modules, such as Aternity (News - Alert) for end-user experience monitoring and NPM+ for network and cloud monitoring.

Also, Aternity Mobile a mobile monitoring tool empowers IT teams to monitor enterprise-owned Apple (News - Alert) iOS and Android mobile devices and proactively identify performance issues to enhance employee productivity.

With Riverbed NPM+, a SaaS (News - Alert)-delivered Network Performance Monitoring (NPM) service, its possible to overcome traditional network blind spots created by remote work, public clouds, and encrypted architectures by extending packet visibility to previously inaccessible network locations to ensure comprehensive monitoring and analysis.

Riverbed NetProfiler offers real-time visibility into network traffic and application performance. It is now enhanced to monitor SD-WAN health and performance, including support for Cisco (News - Alert) (Viptela) and VeloCloud SD-WAN.

Riverbed IQ 2.0, a SaaS-based AIOps service leverages AI-driven automation to contextualize and correlate data across the IT landscape. It reduces alert fatigue by prioritizing impactful alerts and automates problem resolution processes.

Finally, Aternity Intelligent Service Desk uses AI to automate and resolve common issues, enhancing service desk and call center efficiency. It incudes things like sentiment analysis to understand end-user satisfaction and improve overall customer service.
