Juniper Networks (News - Alert) announced enhancements to its AI-Native Networking Platform that it says will raise the standard for proactive insight and automation and amplify the value of its wired and wireless access solutions.

Empowered by Mist AI, Juniper’s cloud-hosted Wired, Wireless, and Access Assurance products have undergone augmentation alongside Marvis—the industry’s sole AI-Native Virtual Network Assistant—and are now equipped with fresh capabilities to proactively identify and resolve network, application, and security issues.

These advancements empower Juniper's customers and partners to anticipate user needs while reducing operational costs by up to 85 percent in certain scenarios.

The AI-Native Networking Platform epitomizes the concept of "AI for Networking." It leverages precise data, real-time responses, and robust infrastructure to ensure heightened reliability, measurability, and security for every connection, device, user, application, and asset.

“In the AI era, enterprise networking has never been more important, or more of a challenge to optimize. From reducing the complexity of deploying and managing networks, to assuring high-quality user, device and application experiences, to staying ahead of ever evolving cyberthreats, advancing the connectivity strategy of enterprise campus and branch networks is a key priority for organizations,”  said Brandon Butler, Research Manager, Enterprise Networks, IDC (News - Alert)

“AI-enhanced network operations (AIOps) platforms can be a powerful tool for overcoming these challenges. Key fundamentals to a successful AIOps solution include being AI- and cloud-native, leveraging a platform-based approach that extends across wired and wireless capabilities, and having security natively built in. Recent enhancements to Juniper’s AI-Native Networking Platform continue to make important advancements to AIOps capabilities for enterprise network management,” said Butler.

New features such as Marvis Application Experience Insights provide understanding of Zoom meetings and Teams calls, predicting call quality beforehand. Marvis Minis also extends proactive issue detection to wired networks, diagnosing problems without user intervention.

Juniper also introduced AI-Native Dynamic Spectrum (News - Alert) Capture for wireless interference detection, along with wired dynamic packet capture for efficient troubleshooting. And enhanced integration with Unified Endpoint Management (UEM)/Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions simplifies posture validation, ensuring compliance.

“This announcement directly addresses two of the top concerns from our customers and partners: how to proactively stay ahead of constantly changing user demands, and how to ensure critical applications like Zoom and Teams perform as desired, regardless of where users are located. By expanding our AI-Native Networking Platform with more industry-firsts such as Marvis Application Experience Insights and wired/wireless digital experience twinning, Juniper continues to pioneer the usage of AI in networking to deliver unsurpassed agility and assurance via proactive insight and automation,” said Sudheer Matta, GVP Products for Campus and Branch, Juniper Networks.
