HPE's New Platform Takes the Complexity Out of AI

As businesses recognize the potential of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI), they are under immense pressure to deploy these technologies as quickly as possible. This urgency stems from the desire to gain a competitive edge, improve efficiency and enhance customer experiences, among other reasons.

Despite the enthusiasm, however, implementing GenAI applications is not as straightforward as some might believe. Organizations need to carefully select the most suitable models and consider factors like their capabilities, limitations and compatibility with existing systems.

Additionally, high-quality datasets are essential for training and fine-tuning these models, ensuring that they produce accurate and relevant outputs. The process also involves acquiring and integrating various tools, such as cloud platforms, data pipelines and visualization interfaces, to support the development, deployment and management of GenAI applications.

Piling on the process, organizations must also address challenges related to data privacy, security and ethical considerations for responsible and transparent AI usage.

So, the answer to these challenges? Solution accelerators; HPE recently introduced new solution accelerators of its own to automate and streamline AI applications. And in this vein, the HPE team announced that HPE Private Cloud AI is available to order.

Solution accelerators are pre-built, customizable AI applications that help businesses quickly implement AI solutions. These accelerators use NVIDIA (News - Alert)'s NIM microservices and are designed to simplify the process of deploying AI applications. They run on HPE Private Cloud AI and offer end-to-end security to protect sensitive data.

HPE Private Cloud AI is a turnkey, cloud-based experience co-developed with NVIDIA to help businesses of every size build and deploy GenAI applications that was introduced as part of the NVIDIA AI Computing by HPE portfolio.

The new solution accelerators give enterprises the ability to deploy virtual assistants in one click and operationalize them in seconds, simplifying the process from end-to-end.

The first solution accelerator, available today, is a GenAI virtual assistant designed to help developers create interactive chatbots. These chatbots answer questions in natural language using an organization's private data and are powered by open-source LLMs. Businesses can customize these chatbots for various purposes, including tech support, sales, marketing, and more. Future versions of the virtual assistant will support voice, images and multi-agent capabilities.

Future solution accelerators will focus on specific industries like finance, healthcare, retail, energy and the public sector, providing pre-built AI applications.

“Solution accelerators are a key differentiator within HPE Private Cloud AI, simplifying a project that could take months to deploy and consolidating that timeline down to a single moment for the enterprise,” said Fidelma Russo, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Hybrid Cloud and CTO at HPE.

By providing a turnkey, cloud-based solution for building and deploying GenAI applications, HPE is making it easier for businesses of all sizes to use AI. The solution accelerators, in particular, will be instrumental in streamlining the deployment process and reducing the time-to-value for organizations.

As a result, we can expect to see a surge in the number of AI applications being developed and deployed across various industries. This will lead to increased efficiency, improved decision-making and better customer experiences. Additionally, the availability of HPE Private Cloud AI will help to democratize access to AI.
