Did you know that there were over 30 million small businesses in the USA in 2018? The recent economic boom has given more people than ever the chance to set up the business of their dreams.

However, what sets apart a business is not only the product, buts how it is marketed. If the business does not have a successful website, it may never take off.

How can a business set a website to market its products? Can everyone learn to set up a website? Check out our in-depth guide to web design for beginners in three easy steps.

1. Choose a Website Building Platform

Building a website is not as complicated as it sounds or as it used to be. Perhaps you have heard of people who write code in Html or CSS (News - Alert). This is still a viable industry.

However a few years ago website building programs began to spring up. They work by giving you prepared website parts. You simply piece it together into the shape you desire. Little or no coding involved at all.

Simple right? Yes! Using the Wordpress building platform you can quickly and easily create a basic website. It is also possible to format your Wordpress site beautifully, you can even look at Wordpress awards for inspiration.

To start your website construction. Go to a website construction program and select the type of website you want to build.

2. Domain and Web Hosting

Now you may have an idea of what your website will look like and how it will function. However, to be able to put your site out there on the internet and for people to be able to see it, you need to have a "Domain name" and "hosting".

     Domain Name

domain name is an address that people will enter to find your website. It is usually something like www.youraddress.com

     Web Hosting

Web hosting is the service that will support your website on the internet.

Although Wordpress is free to use, hosting and a domain name are not. You will likely rent space for a hosting company on an annual basis. You can usually get hosting and domain name deals for a few dollars per month.

3. Add Customization

Now you have a way to build your website, an address, and a place on the internet to host it. Next comes the fun part: Customizing your site.

There are literally thousands of ways that WordPress will allow you to change the appearance and functionality of your site.

Wordpress and third parties are constantly creating new themes using beautiful artwork and images. Check out the variety of themes available to see which will suit your business best.

Rather than changing individual images, change the theme. This means that all images, icons, colors, and menus will be changed to match.

Eventually, you will be able to add text to your site. you will need at least some text on each page. A great way to draw attention to your company is to add blogs and articles. Why not read up on skills and tips for writing content for your site.

Your site is basically active now! From here on in, it is all a matter of personal taste.

Even though setting up a website is possible for most people. It is true to say that a professional will create a more professional website.  Why not consider a white labelling service for web development. They will leverage their skills to create a site that is suited to your needs exactly.
