The past year has been nothing short of explosive for the cloud computing space, with vendors and providers from every market segment evolving their product portfolios, either adding cloud-based offerings to their portfolios or enhancing previously introduced cloud products. The reason is simple. While the extent to which companies are leveraging cloud-based services and applications to conduct business, those that are not using cloud at all are dwindling in numbers. As a result, vendors are faced with an imperative: migrate their capabilities to the cloud or run the risk of losing customers to competitors to have.
Given that, it’s not surprising to see so many different types of products and services in this year’s list of Cloud Computing Excellence Award winners, representing many of the highly competitive cloud market segments that are witnessing wide-scale innovations and adoption. In this list, we have sought to recognize companies that are driving cloud education and adoption, and are allowing their customers to grow their businesses through these cloud-based capabilities.
We congratulate this year’s winners and look forward to even more innovation in the cloud in the next 12 months.
