Infomart
Efficient Data Centers
Infomart is committed to helping organizations meet their energy efficiency and sustainability goals without sacrificing performance or availability. An excellent example of Infomart’s commitment to green and efficient data centers is its Infomart Silicon Valley facility for which it is purchasing 100 percent renewable power for all electricity consumption, including tenant and internal electricity needs, as of January 2017. Meanwhile, Infomart Portland set the renewable power precedent for the Infomart data center portfolio in 2015, when the property used Direct Access (News - Alert) rights to source power from the nation’s largest producer of hydroelectric power, the Bonneville Power Administration. The Portland facility, which is LEED Gold Certified, was awarded Efficient IT Award by the Uptime Institute, recognizing sustainable leadership in IT. The company leverages the optimum energy mix for sustainability and lower costs with direct access to power. This facility is also hosts the world’s largest deployment in production of rear-door heat exchangers, a pioneering technology that brings cooling closer to the load. At this facility, water is maintained at 67 degrees and cooled via ambient air 70 percent of the year. While Infomart Portland features 415V power distribution to cabinets, its average PUE is 1.06.

MapR Converged Data Platform for Docker
The MapR Converged Data Platform for Docker includes the MapR Persistent Application Client Container, which makes it easy for stateful applications and microservices to access data for application agility and faster time to value. Capabilities for stateful applications supported by this solution include secure, reliable, high-performance data storage for configuration, logging, and binary state; scale out NoSQL K/V and document database storage for operational and lightweight analytics; and global event streams with persistence for inter-microservice communication state. And the PACC offers a pre-built Docker container that provides application access to files, database tables, and streams; extensible support for application layers; and secure authentication at the container level.

vSCOUT and vSTREAM
These are hybrid cloud visibility tools, which are affordably priced. vSCOUT can be deployed everywhere and enabled as needed for service visibility. vSTREAM is delivered using a scalable deployment model that can be configured to meet the performance requirements dictated by the volume of wire data/traffic flow. The vSCOUT, vSTREAM, and InfiniStreamNG appliances are all ASI-based data sources and are all supported by the same nGeniusONE workflows.

With hundreds of possible distribution configurations, PowerPak 2 PDU is smallest power distribution unit with true front accessibility in today’s market. A patent pending 3D access window allows true front access for service and maintenance while offering panel board and/or sub feed distribution in the main cabinet.
