Nutanix, a provider of hybrid multicloud computing, unveiled a suite of new features within the Nutanix Cloud Platform designed to bolster cyber resilience.

Recent statistics reveal that while 93 percent of organizations acknowledge the urgency of preparing for ransomware attacks today, yet there remains a glaring need for better readiness.

Ransomware attackers are becoming increasingly proficient today, causing the average duration of attacks to surge by 94 percent. This emphasizes the importance of rapid detection and recovery as traditional efforts often take days or even weeks, and incomplete recovery can continue to disrupt operations long after an attack has concluded.

These latest enhancements by Nutanix are focused on safeguarding unstructured data against ransomware threats. Available now in Nutanix Data Lens and Nutanix Unified Storage solutions, the features empower organizations to swiftly identify threats, defend against further damage, and initiate a one-click recovery process within just 20 minutes of exposure.

With Nutanix Data Lens, a SaaS (News - Alert)-based data security solution, it is possibel to proactively assess and mitigate risks associated with unstructured data. New enhancements make it possible to detect and block ransomware attacks within just 20 minutes to help minimize the overall impact and protect unstructured data. It also has a new one-click recovery option, which identifies the last known good snapshot and automatically restores the data from that point.
