Tata Communications (News - Alert) announced the launch of a Unified/Single-Vendor Hosted Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solution for global enterprises.

Partnering with Versa Networks, a provider of AI-powered Unified SASE, Tata Communications' new offering integrates SD-WAN and SSE capabilities into a single, streamlined technology.

Managed end-t- end by Tata Communications, the Hosted SASE solution promises secure, scalable and agile deployment.

With more and more enterprises adopting hybrid working models, SD-WAN, and a digital-first approach, they need a distributed network architecture that is protected from cyberattacks. A study commissioned by Tata Communications found that secure remote working is the primary driver (49%) for adopting SASE solutions in global businesses, followed by the need for simplified and integrated security models (43%). Additionally, nearly half of the businesses implementing SASE identified siloed security and networks teams as a significant challenge.
