The goal of this collaboration is to provide businesses with essential data they need to make decisions that reduce their environmental impact.

Customers simply upload their Wasabi invoice to Zero Circle’s carbon calculator, and can determine their estimated CO2 footprint based on actual data stored in a specific Wasabi storage region. This enhances the accuracy of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) benchmarking so businesses can make more informed and sustainable decisions.

The solution’s unique features and flexibility make it a powerful resource for companies seeking to measure and track their cloud sustainability, including real-time emissions calculations integrated directly into purchases from supply chain partners.

The carbon footprint solution is now available to all Wasabi customers and there are plans to explore further eco-friendly initiatives, such as renewable energy procurement and carbon offset programs, to further reduce the environmental impact of cloud storage.
