Let’s talk VirnetX and Envoy Data Security.
First, VirnetX’s (News - Alert) mission: To secure real-time communications over the Internet. In the VirnetX team’s own words, “Backed by VirnetX One Secure Communication Platform, VirnetX ensures your company is safe from malicious attacks. VirnetX’s software and technology solutions are designed to facilitate secure communications and provide rigorous security that is required by next-gen Internet-based applications. With ZTNA-based standards, VirnetX empowers remote-work employees, provides collaborative enterprise apps that are always privacy-optimized, and reduces digital environments’ attack surfaces.
Then, Envoy Data Security’s mission: To protect small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and the public sector by effectively, per Envoy Data’s team, “delivering today’s best-in-class cybersecurity solutions that mitigate costly threats while easing undue business strife.” With the core values of communication, take-the-lead cooperation, actions-first accountability and modernized teamwork, Envoy Data Security explores the ins and outs of phishing, malware, ransomware and other forms of cyber threats. After all, businesses that run today should expect to be up and running tomorrow.
So, a natural progression for this VirnetX-Envoy Data Security coverage?
VirnetX has officially announced that it has signed a non-exclusive agreement with Envoy Data Security to sell its VirnetX family of products to their 500 SMB customers across healthcare, manufacturing, banking and agriculture industries. (In addition to more than 400 existing channel partners that range from system integrators to VARs, MSPs and MSSPs.)
It makes sense, given the common denominators here; namely, secure tools for real strides in day-to-day communications.
"We are extremely pleased to have Envoy selling our products," said Kendall Larsen (News - Alert), VirnetX CEO. "Envoy is a leader in data security, expanding across the U.S., delivering premier cybersecurity solutions to their impressive clientele."
"VirnetX Matrix is a great addition to our cybersecurity product arsenal," said Jeff Ciraulo, Vice President of the Product Management Security Division at Envoy Data. "VirnetX Matrix will bolster our networking security solutions as well as help customers strengthen their critical security needs across their business."Glen Davis, Envoy Data COO, added, “Secure flexibility and ease-of-use management are exactly what we knew we could achieve more of with VirnetX. The difference was immediate once our remote users used VirnetX’s offerings. We see what our customers will come to appreciate.”
