Zero Networks and HighPoint Partnership Shines Light on Zero Trust Network Security

Zero trust is a security model that has been constantly praised by cybersecurity authorities for over a decade, and for good reason. Based on the philosophy that no one or nothing should be granted access to connect to IT systems or workloads unless it is explicitly deemed necessary, the strategy assumes that a complex network's security is always at risk of external and internal threats.

That praise from cybersecurity professionals isn’t without action, either. In 2022, 97% of companies had zero trust security initiatives, up from 16% in 2019, according to a report from Statista.

Part of the zero trust space, Zero Networks provides a simple, unified zero trust platform for secure remote connectivity and software-defined segmentation for any asset. The Zero Networks product suite enables full East/West and North/South network security for enterprises of any size, via automated, agentless, MFA (News - Alert)-enabled microsegmentation and advanced ZTNA solutions.

In an effort to help businesses further solidify their security posture with zero trust, Zero Networks partnered with HighPoint, a provider of technology infrastructure solutions.

The partnership allows HighPoint to offer Zero Networks' unified security suite: Zero Networks Segment? and Zero Networks Connect.

Zero Networks Segment is a cloud-based security solution that maps all communications within a network. It uses a patent-pending method to automatically create policies that limit access to only what is required. Zero Networks Segment works by mapping all communications within the network, creating user and machine-level perimeter policies and placing a firewall and MFA on every asset.

Zero Networks Connect is a ZTNA solution that connects employees and vendors to a network. It combines the speed of VPNs with the security of ZTNAs, while eliminating their flaws.

"Zero Networks' offerings perfectly complement our commitment to delivering top-tier cybersecurity solutions that prioritize data protection and secure user access,” Neil Dearman, Head of Technology, UK at HighPoint. “With this partnership, we are equipped to offer our customers a unified approach to safeguarding their digital assets."

By offering Zero Networks’ security suite, HighPoint is set to enhance the security readiness of enterprises that are adopting the zero trust ideology.

“By combining our expertise, we aim to revolutionize the way enterprises approach network security, placing Zero Trust principles at the forefront of their defense strategies,” said Dan Fishel, Vice President of Business Development and Head of Channel at Zero Networks.
