“What does the future of cloud communications look like for service providers?”
It’s a fair question. Already, they provide vital communication channels while eliminating lag. They can help businesses easily scale their communication systems as needs change over time, and they can even open the door for opportunities that create fresh diversity in communication strategies.
But let’s go even further. What if a business needs to modernize its legacy systems while expanding its network? What about adding high-growth services through strategic communication solutions? Harnessing AI? Accelerating revenue? Simplifying operations?
There are, of course, a multitude of ways to approach these. One such way, in line with the following news, is to entrust a company like Alianza.
“We provide service providers with the world's top cloud communications experience, connecting people seamlessly,” as one Alianza rep described.
And it seems that indeed holds true, as Alianza announced earlier this week that it has officially raised a whopping $61 million in new growth equity and debt financing. This reflects a 70% increase in valuation for the cloud company since March of 2021, and Alianza intends to do quite a lot following this success.
More details below:
November is here, and this year’s Q3 marked nine consecutive years of Q/Q revenue growth for the Alianza team. Future market opportunities remain substantial for the company, with more than 100 million voice lines in North America nearing end-of-life and primed for transition from legacy TDM and softswitch infrastructure to the cloud.
At this time, Alianza plans to a.) expand its sales team by 400% to further penetrate current opportunities in the market, and b.) accelerate the delivery of its previously announced commitment, which entails investing $200 million in research and development to empower cloud innovation.
This successful push by Alianza comes at an opportune time, too; urgency to transform network infrastructure has only increased over the past 12 months as the gap between legacy network capabilities and over-the-top competitors keeps growing. This, as the official announcement from Alianza described, “increasingly leaves CSPs on the sidelines, rather than competing for valuable services revenue and the best experiences for customers.” Thus, what’s been described as the “cloudification” of core communications networks is huge for service providers – with the right strategies, they can continue to offer innovative solutions and even leverage the benefits of generative AI, where applicable.
“As the industry rises to face new market dynamics and rapidly evolving innovations in technology, recent investments in Alianza mark another milestone for the company, reinforcing the power of our full-stack capabilities to enable service providers to meet the future from a position of strength.”
Transformative next-gen solutions are essential to the future of cloud communications. With Alianza’s latest win, it seems we may indeed be headed towards that.
