Network and cloud security policy automation provider Tufin announced the release of its Tufin Orchestration Suite (TOS) R24-2. This latest version brings upgrades aimed at improving automation, enhancing security visibility, and ensuring organizations remain audit-ready.
The new offering is designed to streamline network operations by automating complex tasks, reducing manual processes, and driving compliance across multi-cloud environments, including Microsoft Azure, Google (News - Alert) Cloud Platform (GCP), and VMware.
One benefit of TOS R24-2 is its automation capabilities. The platform automates complex firewall policy management and access requests to ensure that network changes are implemented accurately while minimizing manual effort. This automation is extended across cloud platforms like Microsoft (News - Alert) Azure, GCP, and VMware, so businesses can streamline their operations and reduce operational overhead.
The offering also provides comprehensive change tracking, proactive risk analysis, and impact simulation to help organizations maintain continuous compliance. This is particularly important for organizations using Microsoft Azure Network Security Groups (NSG) and VMware NSX-T devices, which benefit from enhanced audit readiness and risk mitigation.
In addition, users get broad platform support. Thanks to Tufin’s Open Policy Model (OPM) framework security coverage is offered for a range of devices, including next-generation firewalls and cloud-native platforms. This wide support ensures a unified approach to network security across on-premise and hybrid cloud infrastructures.
Security policy optimization identifies unused rules and objects for both Microsoft Azure and VMware, allowing for more efficient rule cleanup. And enhanced integration support within devices not natively supported by Tufin means broader audit, troubleshooting, and automation features.
“Today’s network and security professionals need to be able to do more with less, which is why we designed TOS R24-2 to make complex network security tasks even easier,” said Shay Dayan, Senior Vice President of Products and Engineering at Tufin. “With our latest release, teams gain advanced automation capabilities for the leading cloud vendors, enhanced compliance capabilities, and improved network change management processes for all environments.”
